Maintenance engineer

We are looking for a maintenance engineer for our client in Opmeer. This is a producer of processing and packaging meat products. This involves meat products that are mostly used as toppings. This is supplied to well-known supermarkets and chain shops.

As a maintenance engineer within Technical Services, you are able to see through and maintain the modern and innovative machinery. You are someone who is passionate about the job and eager to share this with your colleagues. You take the lead and are able to decide what is needed to take the machinery to the next level. You understand that the technical department is of crucial importance for the maintenance and fault-free operation of the machinery and technical installations.

You will work in a varied team of technical specialists with a very broad view of both mechanical and electrical engineering activities.

You will work on the following activities:

• performing both corrective and preventive maintenance
• troubleshooting installations and machinery
• registration of disruptions and statuses for proper transfer

• Thinks and works at MTS level;
• Has affinity with electrical engineering and/or metalworking
• Is proactive
• Can communicate clearly in the English language
