Reach truck and forklift driver / Logistics Employee Cheese

Our client in Reeuwijk is a leading specialist in the maturing, cutting and packaging of cheese. They work with wonderful cheeses such as Gouda, Edam, Maasdam, Emmental, Mozzarella, Cheddar and Mimolette.
The packaging is delivered to customers in retail, food service and industry, both nationally and internationally. It is a dynamic company where quality, hygiene and accuracy are paramount.

As an Order Picker / Logistics Employee, you will be responsible for collecting and preparing orders. You will work in a structured production and logistics environment where various types of cheese are processed and shipped.
You will work extensively with scanners, order forms, reach truck and forklift. Accuracy is important in this role. The rate applies after a 4-week trial period.

Tasks

• Collecting orders based on order forms or verbal instructions
• Working with scanners for order picking
• Counting, weighing and sorting products
• Packaging orders with an electric pallet wrapper (if necessary)
• Moving pallets (finished product) with the reach truck and forklift
• Checking orders for completeness and quality
• Contributing to a neat and safe working environment

• Has experience with order picking, working with a scanner and reach truck and forklift
• Is physically capable of lifting and working actively
• Is accurate and responsible
• Speaks good English in relation to work and safety instructions
• Is motivated and enjoys working in a team
