On Thursday, August 21, FHS organized a special relationship day during SAIL Amsterdam 2025. For this unique occasion we boarded the beautiful three-masted clipper Frisius van Adel together with our relations.
A bit of history The Frisius van Adel was built in 1906 and sailed for many years as a sailing freighter. In 1992, the ship received a complete transformation into a luxury sailing vessel. Today the spacious deck offers plenty of seating with stunning views, and inside it is comfortably furnished with a cozy bar. The ideal location to experience SAIL in style.
SAIL 2025 - an anniversary edition This edition of SAIL was extra special: the event celebrated a triple anniversary - the 10th edition of SAIL, 50 years of SAIL and the 750th anniversary of Amsterdam. From August 20 to 24, 2025, as many as 2.3 million visitors gathered along the IJ River to admire the impressive Tall Ships and thousands of boats. A nautical spectacle known worldwide for connection, celebration and culture.
A day full of atmosphere and fun From the SAIL Village in the Amerikahaven, we sailed up the IJ River. Along the way we enjoyed a beautiful view of the impressive fleet and the many special ships that passed by. The weather cooperated: a little wind, occasional lovely sunshine, and always the right atmosphere on board.
During the cruise, everyone was well taken care of:
A full lunch and hot meal
Refreshing drinks
Musical fun with a DJ
Besides all the beauty on the water, it was the conversations and togetherness that made this day unforgettable. It was a perfect mix of relaxation, inspiration and fun.
Thanks to our relations We look back on a successful relations day full of special meetings and beautiful moments. On behalf of the entire FHS team, we thank our relations for their presence and conviviality. Together we experienced SAIL 2025 in a unique way, a memory to cherish.

Successful FHS & Flexwonen.nu football tournament at VVSB in Noordwijkerhout
On Sunday, June 9, the international Flexible Human Services (FHS) & Flexwonen.nu soccer tournament took place at VVSB in Noordwijkerhout. A special location, because VVSB is the club where FHS has been the main sponsor for many years. We look back on a very successful day where we had a lot of fun, laughter and sporting highlights together.
The conditions were perfect for a day full of sportsmanship: a sunny day, a gentle breeze and a temperature of around 15 degrees. Ideal football weather!
The tournament was organized for all FHS employees and residents of Flexwonen.nu. The interest was enormous, with no fewer than 14 registered teams. The teams appeared in beautiful outfits. Supporters were also very welcome to encourage their teams. Family, neighbors, colleagues, friends and our clients stood en masse along the sidelines to encourage all the teams.
Matches were played on a half court, in teams of six against six. The tournament began with a poule phase, after which the eight best teams advanced to the knockout phase. The final was whistled by none other than Allard Lindhout, a professional referee who whistles both KNVB and European matches.
The exciting final was played between the teams Inter Hout and De Stek. After a tie and a short extension, the winner was eventually determined by penalties. De Stek emerged as the winner. The team was presented with a golden cup and medals by Nico Geerlings during the final. They were loudly cheered by the public.
On the cozy square outside, equipped with tables and food trucks, participants and supporters could enjoy delicious ice cream, drinks, chips, fries and snacks!
We would like to thank all participants, volunteers, VVSB and Allard Lindhout for making this fantastic day possible. It was an unforgettable tournament and we are already looking forward to the next edition!
Together with all parties we are stronger. #strongertogether
FHS Relatiedag 2024: A Spectacular Day at Circuit Zandvoort
On Thursday, March 21, the FHS Relatiedag took place at a very special location – the legendary Circuit Zandvoort. It was a day full of adrenaline, entertainment and team building, where participants were immersed in a world of speed and excitement.
Participants had the opportunity to experience the famous circuit in a unique way by cycling around it. With the wind in their hair, they were able to take the corners that famous drivers have also conquered, an experience that will not soon be forgotten.
In addition to the active part, there was also room for reflection. The participants were treated to an interesting story about the history and excitement of the circuit, which brought the significance of this legendary location even more to life.
A highlight of the day was the simulation races at Racesquare. Participants were able to test their skills and bring out their inner racer. It made for exciting competition and a lot of excitement.
In addition, Pitbox challenges were organised, including the Tire Change Game and Blind Racing, where teamwork and communication were essential for success. These challenging activities provided hilarious moments and strengthened the bond between colleagues and relationships.
During the closing drinks, the award ceremony took place for the winning teams, the fastest tire changer and the fastest simulation racer. The tension could be felt as the trophies were presented to the proud winners. In addition, a lottery was held in which a Race Experience was raffled off, giving one lucky participant the chance to experience the sensation of racing for themselves.
"We thoroughly enjoyed this special day together with our relations. We are delighted to receive so much positive feedback and look back on it with great pleasure together with our relations," says Nathalie Geerlings, Director of FHS.
