FHS Relation Day at SAIL 2025
On Thursday, August 21, FHS organized a special relationship day during SAIL Amsterdam 2025. For this unique occasion we boarded the beautiful three-masted clipper Frisius van Adel together with our relations.
A bit of history
The Frisius van Adel was built in 1906 and sailed for many years as a sailing freighter. In 1992, the ship received a complete transformation into a luxury sailing vessel. Today the spacious deck offers plenty of seating with stunning views, and inside it is comfortably furnished with a cozy bar. The ideal location to experience SAIL in style.
SAIL 2025 - an anniversary edition
This edition of SAIL was extra special: the event celebrated a triple anniversary - the 10th edition of SAIL, 50 years of SAIL and the 750th anniversary of Amsterdam. From August 20 to 24, 2025, as many as 2.3 million visitors gathered along the IJ River to admire the impressive Tall Ships and thousands of boats. A nautical spectacle known worldwide for connection, celebration and culture.
A day full of atmosphere and fun
From the SAIL Village in the Amerikahaven, we sailed up the IJ River. Along the way we enjoyed a beautiful view of the impressive fleet and the many special ships that passed by. The weather cooperated: a little wind, occasional lovely sunshine, and always the right atmosphere on board.
During the cruise, everyone was well taken care of:
- A full lunch and hot meal
- Refreshing drinks
- Musical fun with a DJ
Besides all the beauty on the water, it was the conversations and togetherness that made this day unforgettable. It was a perfect mix of relaxation, inspiration and fun.
Thanks to our relations
We look back on a successful relations day full of special meetings and beautiful moments. On behalf of the entire FHS team, we thank our relations for their presence and conviviality. Together we experienced SAIL 2025 in a unique way, a memory to cherish.
