Successful FHS & Flexwonen.nu football tournament at VVSB in Noordwijkerhout

On Sunday, June 9, the international Flexible Human Services (FHS) & Flexwonen.nu soccer tournament took place at VVSB in Noordwijkerhout. A special location, because VVSB is the club where FHS has been the main sponsor for many years. We look back on a very successful day where we had a lot of fun, laughter and sporting highlights together.

The conditions were perfect for a day full of sportsmanship: a sunny day,
a gentle breeze and a temperature of around 15 degrees. Ideal football weather!

The tournament was organized for all FHS employees and residents of Flexwonen.nu.
The interest was enormous, with no fewer than 14 registered teams. The teams appeared in beautiful outfits. Supporters were also very welcome to encourage their teams. Family, neighbors, colleagues, friends and our clients stood en masse along the sidelines to encourage all the teams.

Matches were played on a half court, in teams of six against six. The tournament began
with a poule phase, after which the eight best teams advanced to the knockout phase. The final
was whistled by none other than Allard Lindhout, a professional referee who whistles both KNVB and European matches.

The exciting final was played between the teams Inter Hout and De Stek. After a tie and
a short extension, the winner was eventually determined by penalties. De Stek emerged as the winner. The team was presented with a golden cup and medals by Nico Geerlings during the final. They were loudly cheered by the public.

On the cozy square outside, equipped with tables and food trucks, participants and supporters could enjoy delicious ice cream, drinks, chips, fries and snacks!

We would like to thank all participants, volunteers, VVSB and Allard Lindhout for making this fantastic day possible.
It was an unforgettable tournament and we are already looking forward to the
next edition!

Together with all parties we are stronger. #strongertogether
