We are looking for a Mechanic Specialist for our client in Sassenheim. This is a large producer of a wide range of salads, sauces and meat products, which are supplied to almost all major retail, hospitality and catering companies in the Netherlands.
Work
Responsible for maximum operational availability of all sustainable production resources, without this being at the expense of the normal business process, taking into account the maintenance budget. Officers will have to take explicit account of legislation in the field of the environment, safety and working conditions..
Duties
Installing and/or supervising the installation of machinery, plant and equipment
- Preparations;
- Determine position of parts, route wiring and cabling;
- Installing parts and connecting installations;
- Checking and adjusting parts and sub-products according to specifications;
- Supervise work;
- Setting up and testing installations;
Troubleshooting machinery, plant, equipment and buildings
- Analysing, locating and resolving faults in plant and process equipment;
- Testing and setting and adjusting machinery, plant, equipment and buildings;
- Performing technical adjustments/modifications and repairs to machines and installations;
- Responsible for the safe return of machines and installations after repair and maintenance work;
Maintains machinery, plant, equipment and buildings
- Ensure execution of scheduled maintenance of machinery, plant and buildings;
- Testing and setting and adjusting machinery, plant, equipment and buildings;
- Responsible for the safe return of machinery and plant after repair and maintenance work;
- Correctly ordering and formulating appropriate parts required to prevent breakdowns & carry out maintenance;
Formulating and reporting
- Registering and documenting the stock of technical resources, parts, greases/lubricants and tools;
- Registering and documenting the work performed per machine/plant;
- Registering breakdowns.
Other activities
- Liaising with external companies regarding repairs and/or maintenance of machinery, plant and equipment;
- Keeping the workshop, tools and working environment clean;
- Applying both internal and statutory procedures (NVWA);
- Applying checks for compliance with rules relating to safety, health, welfare and environment;
- Other occurring work as instructed by the TD manager or TD foreman.
- Runs a consignment shift according to a fixed schedule.
