General Assistant, Flower Bulbs & Flowers

We Lisserbroek an All-Around Flower Bulb & Flower Worker for an agricultural business in Lisserbroek . You will work year-round in the greenhouse, the processing hall, and in the fields on the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of flowers and flower bulbs.

You will be working at an experienced nursery that has been active in the flower bulb and ornamental plant sector for decades. The company produces and supplies flower bulbs, flowers, and plants to both wholesale and retail customers. Work takes place in greenhouses, production halls, and in the fields.

Activities

The work varies by season:

December–May (greenhouse/hothouse)

• Harvesting tulips in the greenhouse
• Creating and arranging bouquets
• Packaging flowers
• Planting tulips and other crops in the field
• Monitoring growth, moisture, and plant health

Mid-June – mid-October (country)

• Preparing the soil (tilling, fertilizing)
• Planting crops
• Cutting flowers (including gypsophila)
• Creating and wrapping bouquets
• Arranging flowers on metal carts (trolleys)

October – February/March (greenhouse/hothouse)

• Planting flower bulbs
• Crop care and monitoring
• Harvesting and arranging bouquets
• Flower conditioning (watering, sorting, quality control)

• Taking good care of flowers and plants
• Ensuring quality during harvesting and processing
• Working safely and efficiently in greenhouses, sheds, and in the fields

• Enjoys physical and hands-on work
• Is interested in flowers and plants
• Able to work with precision
• Is flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks

• Varied work throughout the year
• Work in an agricultural setting with flowers and plants
