Construction Assistant

We are looking for a Construction Assistant for a technical position. In this varied role, you’ll perform maintenance and repair work on apartments and assist with renovation and preparation work for new residents. Do you enjoy fixing things and working independently? You'll be working for an organization that manages and maintains houses and apartments. You'll work independently and, at times, collaborate with specialized professionals to ensure that the properties are kept in good condition.

Activities:

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance work
• Troubleshooting simple problems with plumbing, electrical systems, and heating
• Maintenance and Repair of Furniture and Household Appliances
• Painting, flooring, and simple carpentry work
• Preparing apartments for new residents
• Working with outside specialists such as plumbers and electricians
• Identifying and Reporting Maintenance Needs

• Ensuring that work is performed safely and to a high standard
• Proper Use of Hand Tools and Power Tools
• Solving minor technical problems on your own
• Delivering apartments in a neat and presentable condition

• Holds a Class B driver's license
• "Good communication skills" in English
• Experience in construction, maintenance, or renovation (preferred)
• Can work independently and solve problems
• Can use hand tools and power tools
• Has a basic understanding of plumbing, electrical work, and finishing
• Available for a period of 6 to 12 months

• A net bonus of €1 per hour worked
• Long-term assignment lasting 6 to 12 months

• An independent position with a great deal of responsibility
