Laboratory Worker (Flower Bulb Inspection)

We are seeking a Laboratory Worker (Flower Bulb Inspection) for a specialized laboratory environment. In this role, you will perform precise inspections of flower bulbs and plant material using microscopes and established testing procedures.

You will be working for an organization that specializes in quality control and diagnostics within the flower bulb sector. Using modern laboratory techniques, the team works daily to ensure plant health and quality for the international horticultural sector.

Activities

• Inspecting flower bulbs and plant material under a microscope
• Preparation and processing of samples (flower bulbs, tubers, leaf material)
• Performing DNA and RNA extractions according to established protocols
• Conducting PCR tests to detect plant pathogens
• Recording and processing test results in the laboratory system
• Assist with inventory management and general laboratory tasks

• Careful and accurate performance of laboratory analyses
• Strict adherence to established procedures and quality guidelines
• Timely and accurate recording of research results
• Keeping the workplace clean and safe
• Identifying discrepancies and reporting them to the supervisor

• Works with precision, patience, and a sense of responsibility
• Has an affinity for laboratory work or quality control
• Has a basic understanding of laboratory work (preferred)
• Speaks and understands English well
• Ability to work independently and with focus
