Order picker garden center

For our client in Aalsmeer, we are looking for an order picker. At this central centre in Aalsmeer, all branches of the garden centres order their flowers and plants. The so-called Green Centre can be seen as the heart of the organisation, because this is where our service starts. In cooperation with colleagues from the Service Office in Woerden, super trendy green concepts are devised here based on the latest international trends. A team of specialists buys greenery from (international) growers and via the auction. Aalsmeer, all the greenery is distributed to the garden centre branches.

We are looking for enthusiastic order pickers to join our team during the upcoming season. During the season, there are limited holiday opportunities.

Description of work:

• Preparing and packing orders (potted flowers for home and garden).
• Working with a scanner.
• Placing potted plants on trolleys (special trolleys for orders).
• Building up trolleys, and other relevant tasks.

There are no set working hours, but roughly it is as follows:
Monday: 12am-1pm to 7pm-8pm (possible overtime until midnight).
Tuesday-Friday: 8 a.m.-12 p.m. to 6 p.m.-8 p.m. (possible overtime for large orders).
Saturday-Sunday: days off.

• Possesses driving licence B, with willingness to act as a driver.
• Has communicative knowledge of English or Dutch at level B1.
• Has experience in the job offered and the ability to operate a scanner (is a plus)
