We are looking for a Flower Bulb Grower for a family-owned business in Hillegom specializes in growing hyacinths and tulips. You will work both outdoors in the fields and indoors in the production hall, depending on the season. Your duties will range from harvesting and digging up bulbs to processing, sorting, and packing them.

The company specializes in growing flower bulbs such as hyacinths and tulips. During the winter months, hyacinths are processed for the cut-flower market, while in the spring the focus shifts to tulips and preparations for the harvest. Employees work both outdoors and indoors, supporting the entire cultivation and processing process.

Activities

Section 1 – Field Work

• Harvesting and digging up flower bulbs
• Operating harvesting machines
• Placing harvested bulbs on pallets for transport
• Physical work outdoors

Section 2 – Indoor Processing

• Peeling and sorting flower bulbs according to quality standards
• Packaging bulbs for sale and shipping
• Precision work in the workshop, with an eye for detail

• Precise execution of bulb processing operations
• Working safely in both outdoor and indoor settings
• Keeping your workspace tidy

• Available for at least 3–6 months
• Has no medical restrictions that would prevent outdoor work or working with flower bulbs
• Flexible in terms of departments and working hours
• Suitable for physical work and versatile use
