Tomato Greenhouse Worker

We are looking for a tomato greenhouse worker for our client in De Middenmeer. You will work in a modern greenhouse environment at a large cultivation facility spanning over 29 hectares, where tomatoes are grown year-round using grow lights. For the past few years, cucumbers have also been grown there. You will assist both in the greenhouse and in the sorting department.

Our client is one of the major players in the greenhouse horticulture sector. They grow tomatoes on a large scale and use modern techniques to deliver high-quality products year-round.

Activities

In the greenhouse:

• Harvesting tomatoes
• Trimming shoots
• Picking flowers
• General Plant Care

In the sorting department:

• Sorting tomatoes
• Packing and preparing for shipment

• Working with precision throughout the cultivation process
• Monitoring plant quality
• Working safely at heights (up to 4 meters)
• Working carefully in greenhouse and sorting environments

• Experience with tomatoes (preferred)
• Available for an extended period
• Proficiency in English or Dutch at a conversational level (preferred)
• Is not afraid of working at heights of up to 4 meters
