Machine Operator - Beyond Meat

We are looking for a machine operator for our client in Zoeterwoude. This company produces:Beyond Meat, a leading producer of plant-based meat, has opened a new production facility in Zoeterwoude in collaboration with a large meat producer The collaboration will make it possible to meet the growing European demand for Beyond Meat products. At this state-of-the-art production facility, Beyond Meat's innovative plant-based meat products will be produced.

You are responsible for the optimal functioning, replenishment and operation of modern production machines in the semi-finished products department. Part of your job includes setting up machines and then test runs before starting production. You also ensure the correct supply of ingredients, some of which are automatically transported through the factory. You also carry out quality checks, according to hygiene rules, on the product produced. You focus on process and efficiency improvement. By adjusting, checking, adapting and continuously fine-tuning the machines, you ensure optimal results within the customer's strict product standards.

Thanks to your technical knowledge, you identify (future) problems and offer the right solution together with the technical department. You are prepared to take responsibility and ensure optimum machine maintenance. You are also closely involved in developing procedures for new products. In a growing organisation, you help create new products using modern and innovative machines.

• Has experience in a similar position, preferably in the food industry
• Is willing to work for a longer period of time
• Has technical procedural knowledge
• Has a sense of responsibility and is well organised
• Has good team player skills
• Has knowledge of HACCP and safety and hygiene regulations
• Has no objection to working in a colder environment
• Has communication skills in English or Dutch
